Telia toimittaa puhelin- ja tietoliikenneratkaisun Axfoodille Telia ja Axfood ovat allekirjoittaneet toimintasopimuksen, joka sisältää kolmen vuoden aikana tapahtuvan puhelin- ja tietoliikenneratkaisun toimituksen sekä sopimuksen kiinteähintaisista puhelinverkkotoiminnoista. Sopimuksen arvo on noin 100 miljoonaa Ruotsin kruunua. Sopimuksen mukaan Axfood saa viestintäratkaisun, joka yhdistää konsernin hallinnon, varaston sekä noin 500 toimipistettä Ruotsissa ja muissa pohjoismaissa. - Ratkaisu tarjoaa Axfoodille hyvät mahdollisuudet kehittää sisäistä viestintäänsä, vaikka konsernin toiminnot on hajautettu eri puolille pohjoismaita, sanoo Telia Partnerin myyntipäällikkö Gunnar Flinta. Verkkoratkaisu tuo yhteen yli 2000 vaihdeliittymää, joista suurin osa on jaettu kahdeksalle MD-vaihteelle. Samassa verkkoryhmässä toimipisteet saavat liitymänsä nk. Centrex-ratkaisun kautta. Vaihdetoiminnot sijaitsevat seuraavaksi ylemmällä tasolla olevalla AXE-asemalla. Myös yhteispohjoismaiset tietoliikennetoiminnot koordinoidaan WAN-verkon kautta (Wide Area Network) 35 liityntäpaikkaan. Axfoodin WAN-ratkaisu perustuu Telian virtuaaliseen Multi-VPN - yksityisverkkoon, jonka suojaustoiminnot ovat poikkeuksellisen korkeatasoisia. Suurin osa toimipisteistä on yhdistetty verkkoon joko ADSL- tai ISDN-liittymien kautta. Kaikissa liittymissä on Internet- yhteys. - Ratkaisu auttaa Axfoodia rationalisoimaan toimintaansa merkittävästi.
