TeliaSoneran Eesti Telekomista antama käteisostotarjous ei toteudu TeliaSonera AB:n tarjous ostaa kaikki AS Eesti Telekomin osakkeet, jotka eivät vielä ole TeliaSoneran omistuksessa, ei ole tullut niin laajalti hyväksytyksi, että TeliaSonera saisi vähintään 85 prosenttia Eesti Telekomin osakkeista. Tästä syystä tarjous ei toteudu. "Ottaen huomioon Eesti Telekomin varsin korkea arvo verrattuna niin Keski- ja Itä-Euroopan kuin Länsi-Euroopankin vakiintuneisiin yrityksiin ja toisaalta yhtiön kasvunäkymiin, tarjottu hinta on kohtuullinen.
