Seedstars Summit CEE to Gather 100+ Founders From 20 Countries this November

Announced in August as one of the leading regional startup events of the season, the Seedstars Summit CEE will gather the region’s top startups, investors, industry leaders, and innovative partners from over 20 countries, to foster change and sustainable growth in the region.

Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan - November 7th, 2019 - Seedstars, the leading emerging market startup community, and investor, officially picked Nur-Sultan as the epicenter of the Seedstars Summit CEE 2019 in Kazakhstan on November 20th to 22nd. Wrapping up the 2019 Seedstars World Competition in CEE, the Summit will showcase more than 18  of the most promising startups from CEE who will pitch in front of investors and industry experts.

The main stage conference event will take place at AIFC FinTech Hub, and gather over 200 key stakeholders from over 20 countries tackling flagship topics: Smart Cities, EdTech and AI. 

Traditionally, the Seedstars Summit is divided into three days. On November 20th and 21st, previous to the main event, the journey will begin with an intensive private growth Bootcamp for the startups, led by Pierre-Alain Masson (Managing Partner at Seedstars), where the participating teams will learn how to grow and scale their business. 


On the second day, the Investor Forum will take place at our partner AIFC FinTech Hub, premises. More than 20 high-quality experts and founders will mentor the entrepreneurs, including Aray Bekembayev (Bolt), Alyona Tkachecnko (Nommi), Laetitia Monthe (Phillips Health Systems), Patrick Bosteels (Stage-Co) and many more. 

Also, the Forum will be the perfect opportunity to connect startups with investors as influential as Nurbek Rayev (Whitehill), Amirkhan Omarov (BeInTech Company), Arsalan Alfred Ni (AV Ventures), Olena Boytsun (Luminate) and Hambardzum Kaghketsyan (SmartGateVC) among others. 

To conclude it all, the third and main day (November 22) will welcome all the participants willing to learn the latest tech trends, network and meet inspiring founders and entrepreneurs. Espree Devora, known as “the Girl Who Gets it Done”, will visit Kazakhstan from Los Angeles for the first time to make her podcast “WomenInTech” live 

at the Summit. She travels from the US to discuss female entrepreneurship and opportunities in CEE & Central Asia. Also, Richard Paul Gauthier of Amazon (USA), Jonas Schorr of Urban Impact (Germany), Ramil Mukhoriapov of ChocoFamily (Kazakhstan), Darya Yegorina of CleverBooks (Ireland), Rudradeb Mitra, of EFMA and Google Developers (Poland) will give their keynote speeches at the Summit.  The conference will be concluded with a press-conference and closing cocktail for all the participants of the event.

The most promising ventures will then be selected to participate in the Seedstars Summit 2020 in Lausanne, Switzerland and compete for the title of the Seedstars Global Winner. The participating teams will get a chance to pitch their idea on the main stage along with 60+ startups from all over the world and win up to USD 500 000 in equity investments.
