Cell Network chosen as Microsoft's launch partner
Cell Network was chosen as Microsoft's launch partner for the May 5 launch of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 at Hovet in Stockholm
Of Microsoft's 765 partners in Sweden, Cell Network will be one of the select few to participate in the launch of Microsoft Windows Server 2003. The launch event will be held at Hovet in Stockholm.
Microsoft selected Cell Network as a launch partner thanks to Cell's entry, "Migration". The reason why Cell Network was chosen is thanks to Cell's successful software migration solution and its smooth installation of Windows Server 2003, both at LGP Telecom AB.
"With its focus on customer benefit, Cell Network is a forerunner as regards the understanding needed to make migration to Windows Server 2003 a worthwhile investment," says sales manager Thomas Wernborg of Microsoft's Enterprise Partners programme. "Cell Network is one of our most important launch partners and is quick with successful implementations of Windows Server 2003."
The target group comprises around 1,900 people, including TDMs (Technology Decision Makers), IT professionals, partners and the press. Steve Ballmer, the CEO of the Microsoft Corporation, will be participating in the launch personally.
Cell Network is both a Microsoft Certified Partner and a Microsoft Project Solution Provider. Other areas in which Cell Network has shown its strength within Microsoft technology include mobility, for example with an exhibit at the Mobility2Day event together with Microsoft and Telia.
