Klara Leander is proposed to be elected to join the FundedByMe board during the extraordinary shareholdings meeting. With Klara Leander’s prior experiences as responsible for Doberman Forward's investment opportunities and her design expertise from working for Doberman, she will make a great addition to the already existing FundedByMe board. Her knowledge in production development, innovation, entrepreneurship and qualified investments will be an additional driving force for FundedByMe as they enter a listed environment.

“I am extremely grateful that I can be part of such an exciting journey as the one FundedByMe has ahead of them. They make financing democratic and are about to completely change the industry. Who wouldn’t wanna be a part of that ride?,” states Klara Leander.

Since 2013, Klara Leander has been a driving force at Doberman, and at Doberman Forward. In her role as business developer and investment manager she has had the opportunity to learn from two perspectives, from the investor and from the entrepreneur. Through these perspectivce she has been able to receive a better understanding of what an investor is looking for in a potential investment opportunity, compared to what the entrepreneur actually needs in a new investor and ambassador for his or her company. With her prior experiences, to manage both these positions, Klara will be able to continue FundedByMe's ambitions, and help the company become an even more attractive platform.

Klara’s commitment for female investors and female entrepreneurs will also continue to be reflected in her work with FundedByMe. In 2017, 9% of all investments on the FundedByMe platform where made to companies with female founders, compared to other financial platforms where only 0.9% of the investments were given to female entrepreneurs. These statistics shows that the platform is extremely progressive and something to continue develop as well as encourage other establishment to strive for. Also during 2017, 46% of all the investments conducted at the platform where made by women, which is also unique compared to other financing options.

We’ve had a relation with Doberman since 2008, even before we launched FundedByMe, and have always been impressed by their level of creativity, forward thinking and focus on design and customer thinking. We have come to get know Klara Leander and we see that she complements our team perfectly, she will definitely strengthen our board with her experience, expertise and network,” claims Daniel Daboczy, board member and CEO

Today the FundedByMe AB board already consists of chairman Johan Jörgensen as well as members Choon Seng Tan, Ingmar Rentzhog and Daniel Daboczy.
