Change in HKScan’s Executive Team

Anne Mere, EVP Business Unit Baltics and a member of the Group Executive Team, will leave her position.

“I would like to thank Anne for her long and valuable contribution to HKScan and the company’s Baltic business. I wish her all the best for the years ahead,” says HKScan’s CEO Tero Hemmilä.

As of 13 August 2021, Juha Ruohola, a Group Executive Team member, has been appointed as the new EVP Business Unit Baltics. In addition to the Baltic business, he will continue to be responsible for HKScan’s Polish business, the Group’s biotech business and meat balance. Juha Ruohola has been at HKScan since autumn 2019. He has extensive international experience in a variety of executive positions in the food industry.

In the same connection, Mika Koskinen, the Group Executive Team member responsible for HKScan’s strategic business development and investments will take over responsibility for the Group’s exports and imports, which were until 13 August the responsibility of Juha Ruohola.
