Jouni T. Laine appointed EVP for Food Solutions unit to be established at HKScan

Jouni T. Laine (56) has been appointed EVP for a new Food Solutions unit to be established at HKScan and a member of the Group Executive Team. Laine will join HKScan from the CEO position at the Clewer Group, part of Salmela-Yhtiöt. He will take up his new role no later than 1 January 2021, when the new Food Solutions unit starts. 

The key task of the Food Solutions unit is to contribute to HKScan's strategic target to grow into a versatile food company. The new unit will develop and commercialise HKScan’s concept business in all the company’s key market areas. The Food Solutions unit will also add value to the company’s current strongly product-based business. 

Jouni T. Laine is an experienced business leader who has created and renewed commercial concepts in various industries in market disruptions. During his career, Laine has held several leadership positions, e.g. as director for the concept and marketing of the Hesburger fast food chain. He is also a versatile marketing professional with strong experience in digitalization.
