New contract on electric vehicles to Kongsberg Automotive

Kongsberg, 20 May 2009. Kongsberg Automotive's (KA) Automotive division has booked an order valued at MEUR 2,9 or approximately 26 million NOK. The customer is a well-known European car producer and the new business includes delivery of gearshift systems to an eco-friendly vehicle powered purely by electricity. Start of production is set to 2012 at KA's production plant in Mullsjö, Sweden.
