Rachel Elnaugh keynote speaker At ‘Insolvency – is it the end of the world?’ event Portland Business Recovery hosts 20 May 2009 at Intech

Former BBC Dragons’ Den panellist Rachel Elnaugh will share her experiences at a recession-busting event hosted by Portland Business Recovery. Rachel, founder of the gift experience firm Red Letter Days, famously saw the company fall into administration before it was bought by fellow Dragons’ Den members Theo Paphitis and Peter Jones. She now runs her own consultancy firm, and has become a best-selling author with her book, Business Nightmares. ‘Insolvency - is it the end of the world?’ takes place on 20 May 2009 at Intech, Winchester. “Insolvency may not be the end of the line for businesses and their owners,” says Carl Faulds, Director of Portland Business Recovery. “We know it’s incredibly challenging for some businesses in the current climate, but we can show that there are options available for struggling firms. If insolvency is one of them, it doesn’t mean the ‘end of the world’.” The Portland team will be on hand to give individual participants information and guidance. Faulds added: “Rachel is a classic example of how business leaders can turn their fortunes around and she has an inspirational tale to tell. She is very enthusiastic to pass on what she has learned to stop people making the same mistakes.” For more information about ‘Insolvency – is it the end of the world?’ and to book a place on the 20 May please call Annette Moran on 0845 345 6969. -Ends- Words: 298
