Metsä Tissue, a part of Metsä Group, welcomes 20 junior professionals on board after their successful apprenticeship periods. These new employees will now start their professional careers at Metsä Tissue as trained paper technologists, industrial mechanics, electronics technicians for industrial engineering, machine and plant operators and industrial clerks.

Metsä Tissue has a decades-long history of training young talents at its two tissue mills in Germany. By providing training within the company, Metsä Tissue Germany is able to better ensure its long-term skilled labour needs in a targeted manner.

"We warmly congratulate our new Metsä professionals on successfully completing their training. Our employees are important to us and they are key to our success. After this important first step, we want to offer opportunities for specialised development for our employees. Personal development meetings are held regularly and targeted training courses are offered to expand and deepen competencies further”, says Simone Klein, Vice President Human Resources.

Metsä Tissue offers interesting career paths in an international environment and many opportunities to learn new things. Angelique Fröhlich, who was recently certified as an industrial clerk at the Metsä Tissue's Raubach mill says: "I felt very comfortable during the job interview and also during my training. I have become familiar with many departments and tasks independently. My colleagues supported me with valuable tips during my exam preparation. I enjoy working at Metsä Tissue; not least because we get along well here."

The Kreuzau, Raubach and Düren mills are officially recognised and registered training companies. Metsä Tissue’s local partners include e.g. the Chambers of Industry and Commerce, the papermaking centre in Gernsbach and the vocational schools in the vicinity of the mills.

Metsä Tissue extends its warmest congratulations on the successful training and once again welcomes the new professionals to the team through the next application round.
