Metsä Group divests its share in its head office property

NREP, a real estate investor in the Nordics, has acquired Metsä Group's head office property in Tapiola, Espoo. Metsä Group will have a positive cash flow effect of approximately EUR 44 million from the transaction.

The property has previously been owned by Metsä Group and the Farmers’ Social Insurance Institution Mela. Metsä Group will continue in the property as the primary tenant with a long-term agreement. The property is a workplace of approximately 500 Metsä Group employees.
