About Nordic Mining

Nordic Mining ASA is a mining company focusing on high-end industrial minerals and metals with assets mainly in the Nordic region.

The company has production of anorthosite in Norway through its subsidiary Gudvangen Stein AS. Evaluations with the purpose to utilise anorthosite in production of industrial feedstocks based on the mineral components of the anorthosite are ongoing.

Further, Nordic Mining has a large scale development project for rutile (titanium dioxide) at Engebøfjellet in Norway. Realization of the Engebø project will make Nordic Mining one of the largest producers of rutile feedstock in the world, with reserves for more than 40 years of production. High quality garnet will be a valuable by-product from the Engebø project.

Through its subsidiary Keliber Oy Nordic Mining has permits and concessions to start mining and production of lithium carbonate in Finland. The demand for lithium carbonate is expected to increase significantly, especially based on the demand from the fast-growing Li-ion battery industry.
