Appraisal drilling on Gohta has started

Stavanger 23 May 2014: Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco) is pleased to announce that the drilling of appraisal well 7120/1-4S in PL492 in the Barents Sea has started. The main objective is to appraise the Permian carbonate reservoir in the Gohta discovery. 

The well is being drilled with the drilling rig Island Innovator.

Noreco Norway AS has a 20 percent interest in license PL492. Lundin Norway AS is the operator with a 40 percent working interest. Det norske oljeselskap ASA holds 40 percent.
