Proxy Rights at Extraordinary General Meeting

Stavanger, 13 November 2013: Ståle Kyllingstad, Chairman of the Board of Norwegian Energy Company ASA (the "Company"), has in connection with the upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting on 15 November 2013, received proxy rights from shareholders representing 19 438 012 shares in the Company, equal to 5.46 % of the voting rights in the Company.

Including other shares and voting rights controlled by him (or close  associates), the Chairman of the Board will represent an aggregate of 66 410 901 shares at the upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting, equal to 18.65% of the voting rights in the Company.
