Ossur acquires Linea Orthopedics in Sweden

Ossur has acquired the prosthetics producer Linea Orthopedics of Sweden, which specialises in cosmetic products for prostheses.  Linea Orthopedics develops and produces unique cosmetic skin, intended especially for artificial hands. The company was only established in 2000, and is thus still in its developmental stages. 
 
The purchase price of Linea Orthopedics is USD 750,000.
