The man logged into and played for 25 cents on the slots game Mega Fortune, and suddenly landed the main jackpot.

This is what the winner says when Paf interviewed him on the day following his jackpot win:

How did you react when you realized you had won this amazing jackpot?

‒It was completely unreal, I laughed and cried all at once. Can this really be happening? I wondered.

‒But everything was so out of this world that I can hardly recall any of it.

‒Then I called my girlfriend and told her that a bigger win had just come in. She calmed me down and told me to keep both feet on the ground and just sit tight.

How does it feel now, one day later?

‒It's all still very unreal.

Have you grasped how much money 18 million euros is?

‒It is so much money that it is honestly quite hard to grasp.

Do you know what you will do with the money yet?

‒My first thought was that now I can help my relatives, make their lives easier. Then I might start looking around for a nicer car.

What kind of experiences to you have of Paf as a gaming company?

‒I have been a customer at Paf for two to three years and mostly play with small stakes. I like the games and the payback rate is good.

Any favourite games?

‒I'm really a poker player, but Mega Fortune is now my new favourite at Paf.

What do you do in your spare time?

‒I am going to hire a personal trainer and hopefully get in shape.

The good luck gaming company

Paf is already pretty experienced in calling up new millionaires and congratulating them. Paf customers have been unbelievably lucky and have taken home a number of the big jackpots in Europe during the last few years. Many of the jackpots at are pooled, which means that the jackpots are dealt to pool member companies in an arbitrary manner.

‒It seems like Paf customers are really just lucky, says Anders Sims, Head of Press and PR at Paf.

Last year alone Paf customers have won huge jackpots worth 6.9 million and 8.6 million euros, as well as  the latest, record-breaking jackpot worth 17.8 million.

Profit to good causes

The whole profit of Paf goes to good causes. Since the founding of the company in 1966, Paf has donated around 160 million euros to support health care programs, children's foundations and other good causes. This year, Paf will donate 20 million euros, which is just a little over the worth of the world record jackpot.

Owned by the regional government of Åland, Paf is a safe and responsible gaming company whose aim is to make customers feel that they are playing among friends.

‒Paf is a good luck gaming company that contributes to good causes. Not a bad combination, Anders Sims says.
