Precise Biometrics releases Annual Report in new web format
- "We believe that this is the future" Stock-listed Precise Biometrics takes the step from printed to digital, when they today release their Annual Report for 2008 in Swedish. With their first online annual report, they want to make the information more accessible and further establish themselves as an innovative and high-tech company. Precise Biometrics specializes in fingerprint recognition to prove people's identities. - We are a high-tech company and an online Annual Report is just in line with how we want people to perceive us, says Linda Rosdahl, Project Manager in Precise Biometrics' Marketing department. In their Annual Report, Precise Biometrics benefits from the advantages of online media. Animations and moving images help the Annual Report to become more vivid. Online media also creates an interaction with the reader, which is not possible to accomplish with printed communication material. The goal is to achieve straightforward financial communication with comprehensible navigation, search function and links. The information becomes more easily available when you are able to access both balance sheet and notes on the same page. - Our shareholders have a genuine technical interest and I think that they will find it exciting to go from a traditional report to a digital one, says Patrik Norberg, CFO at Precise Biometrics. - We believe that this is the future and that financial communication gradually is moving towards online publishing, says Linda Rosdahl.
