CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD E A SPIRE VENTURES NA PRIMEIRA INCUBADORA TECNOLÓGICA FOCADA EM IMOBILIÁRIO DA EUROPA – A PROPERTY INNOVATION LABS (Pi Labs)
A Cushman & Wakefield e a Spire Ventures anunciaram hoje uma parceria estratégica com a Pi Labs, a primeira incubadora tecnológica focada em imobiliário. Fundada por Faisal Butt e Umesh Kumar, a Pi Labs foi criada para apoiar start-ups cuja atividade juntasse inovação tecnológica com imobiliário. O programa da Pi Labs consiste em acelerar o crescimento dessas empresas através de acesso a investimento, aconselhamento e espaço de trabalho. Esta parceria vem salientar o compromisso da Cushman & Wakefield em apoiar e promover centros globais de inovação imobiliária e tecnológica.
A partir deste mês, as start-ups destas áreas podem candidatar-se a fazer parte da Pi Labs que estará localizada na Second Home (Segunda Casa), um novo edifício com cerca de 2.000 m2 de escritórios em Shoreditch. Este espaço irá estabelecer novos padrões a nível de ambientes de trabalho que estimulem a colaboração entre negócios tecnológicos e criativos.
A equipa da Cushman & Wakefield dedicada ao projeto, liderada por Julliette Morgan, irá ser recolocada na Second Home e fará parte integral da incubadora. Os fundadores Faisal Butt e Umesh Kumar irão assumir as operações do dia-a-dia como diretores do programa. Esta iniciativa coloca a C&W no coração do ecossistema tecnológico de Londres, fazendo com que a consultora imobiliária colabore diretamente com empreendedores de áreas da tecnologia e criatividade enquanto partilha o seu vasto conhecimento imobiliário, os seus contactos e oportunidades de networking.
