Swedish clean tech company Ripasso Energy AB has appointed Sven Ljungberg in the role of Chief Communication Officer (CCO) and management team member. The appointment is a step towards further reinforcing the organisation and adapting the company ahead of the planned listing on a regulated marketplace.

Ripasso Energy AB has appointed Sven Ljungberg in the newly-established role of CCO. Sven has a sound managerial background, has been working in communication in various roles for almost 30 years, and has substantial experience from several sectors and markets. Sven joins the company from a most recent stint running his own consultancy, and before that, many years as a communication and brand manager at Skandia

“We’re really pleased to be able to recruit Sven Ljungberg at Ripasso Energy. Sven has been working for us on a consulting basis for almost a year, and is already very familiar with the company. His extensive know-how and competence in communication will be extremely valuable to us in this first expansion, and in the planned listing on a regulated market in 2019,” says Gunnar Larsson, CEO Ripasso Energy.

In the role of CCO, Sven will be responsible for the company’s investor relations and working with the brand, as well as internal and external communications. He starts in the position on 15 October 2018.

“Ripasso Energy is an exciting clean tech company with a unique cost-effective solution for producing climate-smart electricity. I’m really looking forward to being involved in the development of a company that can make a real positive contribution towards solving the great global issue of our time - the climate,” says Sven Ljungberg, new CCO of Ripasso Energy.
