Changes in the Executive Board of Scania

Per Hallberg has been appointed Head of Research and Development as well as Purchasing. Since 2001 he has been a member of the Executive Board. Anders Nielsen has been appointed Head of Production and Logistics and will join Scania’s Executive Board. They both take up their new positions as from 1 January 2010.

Per Hallberg, aged 56, is currently Executive Vice President Production and Procurement. He joined Scania in 1977 and has held various managerial positions. Prior to his current position, Per Hallberg was Head of Powertrain Production and Development and a member of Scania Group Management between 1999 and 2001. Hasse Johansson, currently Head of Research and Development, will retire as from 1 January 2010. Anders Nielsen, aged 46, is currently Senior Vice President Chassis and Cab Production and a member of Scania Group Management. He joined Scania in 1987 and has held various managerial positions. Prior to his current position, Anders Nielsen was Vice President Production and Development at Scania Latin America between 2002 and 2006.
