Kommentar av Lars-Eric Petersson, Telias styrelseordförande Med anledning av att Telias VD och koncernchef Anders Igel idag har meddelat att han avstår från sin styrelseplats i det sammanslagna TeliaSonera lämnar Telias styrelseordförande Lars-Eric Petersson följande kommentarer: - De senaste dagarnas diskussion, och den osäkerhet detta möjligen kan ha vållat Telia och Soneras organisationer, är självfallet olycklig. - Det är samtidigt viktigt att också konstatera att det faktum att VD inte formellt tillhör bolagets styrelse efter affärens genomförande, förändrar vare sig Anders Igels uppdrag, mandat eller handlingskraft som VD. - Viktigast nu är att arbetet på samgåendet mellan Telia och Sonera kan gå vidare i full takt. Det är ett viktigt arbete, som förutsätter ett fortsatt ömsesidigt förtroende mellan bolagen och mellan deras ägare och det är ett arbete som kräver arbetsro för alla de medarbetare i de båda bolagen, som har att förverkliga samgåendet. Jag hoppas och tror att vi skall kunna åstadkomma dessa arbetsförutsättningar, säger Lars-Eric Petersson.
