The employees – a 35-year-old caregiver and a 25-year-old employee, both of whom were male – were reported to authorities by their co-workers. Some of the co-workers claim that they had been threatened by the men to not reveal their abusive crimes in the past.

The 25-year-old employee is charged with allegedly removing a resident’s breathing tube and mocking him by asking how it felt to have no air, and also intentionally cutting a patient with a razor while he was shaving him.

Both men also allegedly stole drugs from residents.

"They are psychopaths," said Paul Quirin, the head of a company that runs the nursing home where the incidents occurred, according to UPI.
