This is in reference to the stock exchange notification of 20 August 2009 concerning the announcement that SpareBank 1 SR-Bank would submit an application to the Norwegian State Finance Fund for an injection of capital.

 

SpareBank 1 SR-Bank has been provided with a gross amount of NOK 2,028 million in fresh equity through equity certificate issues and by issuing Tier 1 hybrid securities. Total new equity consists of NOK 1,228 million in new equity certificate capital and NOK 800 million in the form of  Tier 1 hybrid securities.

 

There is consequently no need for further injections of capital. The application to the Norwegian State Finance Fund has been withdrawn.
