Första AP-fonden acquires shares from Starbreeze Chairman Michael Hjorth

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN (October, 7, 2016) In conjunction with Första AP-fonden’s participation in a directed share issue October 6, 2016, the fund also bought an additional 1,850,000 B shares in Starbreeze from Michael Hjorth, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Starbreeze, through his company Indian Nation AB. After the transaction, Michael Hjorth holds 1,469,275 A shares and 807,049 B shares in Starbreeze.

“I decided to take this opportunity to divest part of my shareholding in order to invest in my business venture Indian Nation in which I aim to leverage my insight into how digitalization can transform traditional entertainment,” says Michael Hjorth. “My remaining shareholding in Starbreeze represent a very large portion of my net worth, which shows my confidence in the company. I look forward to continuing my involvement in Starbreeze for many years to come.”

At the request of Första AP-fonden, Michael Hjorth has confirmed his intention to remain a long-term significant shareholder in Starbreeze.

Together with shares purchased earlier in September as well as additional purchases made in relation to the directed share issue, Första AP-fonden will hold 25,513,889 shares representing 9.3 % of the capital and 3.2 % of the votes in Starbreeze.
