Mike Gamble and Thomas Lindgren proposed to Starbreeze Board of Directors
Prior to the 2021 Annual General Meeting in Starbreeze, the Company's Nomination Committee announces its proposal regarding the Chairman of the Board and other board members.
Starbreeze's Nomination Committee proposes that the Annual General Meeting on May 12, 2021 elect Mike Gamble and Thomas Lindgren as new Board members.
Mike Gamble, born in 1964, has a long experience of leading organizations in the gaming industry, including Epic Games where he has worked for many years, most recently as Head of Game Licensing EMEA. Mike Gamble holds the title of honorary doctor at Staffordshire University for his contributions to the gaming industry.
Thomas Lindgren, born 1971, has a long experience in the gaming industry and has, among other things, been executive chairman of Fatshark AB, Goodbye Kansas Game Invest and also CEO and Chairman of the Board of Glorious Games Group AB (formerly Stardoll AB). Thomas is currently executive chairman of Wanderword and a board member of Ecobloom and Rahms städ AB.
The Nomination Committee proposes the re-election of Jan Benjaminson, Torgny Hellström, Anna Lagerborg and Kerstin Sundberg. Torgny Hellström is proposed as Chairman of the Board. Tobias Sjögren has been appointed permanent CEO of Starbreeze on March 23, 2021 and therefore declined re-election.
All proposed board members are, in the nomination committee's opinion, independent to both the company and company management as well as to major shareholders. The Nomination Committee's complete proposal and motivational statement will be presented in connection with the notice convening the Annual General Meeting.
