Stockmann-owned Lindex has initiated measures and adjusts its personnel resources due to the coronavirus

As a consequence of the effects of the coronavirus, Lindex has initiated measures in order to reduce costs and meet the lower demand. Lindex will verify the cost structure on several levels and re-prioritise and postpone costs as well as investments. The fashion company’s strategic investments in digital development continues. Lindex also adjusts its personnel resources in according to the current situation, which means different forms of measures. For Lindex largest markets, Sweden, Norway and Finland, this means that Lindex will carry out trade union negotiations with relation to short-term lay-offs.

As a company we have to work together to be prepared for the effects, both for short-term and long-term, and to ensure our company’s business and the health of our co-workers”, says Lindex CEO Susanne Ehnbåge.
