Storskogen has entered into an agreement to acquire 90.1% of the shares in Budettan via its subsidiary Södra Infragruppen Sverige (“SISAB”). Budettan provides logistic services in southern Sweden, mainly Skåne, Småland and Blekinge. Budettan reported a turnover of SEK 39m and an EBITA of SEK 7m in 2020. As per today, Budettan has approximately 45 full-time employees. Storskogen expects to complete the transaction in the beginning of the first quarter 2022.

Budettan offers a wide range of logistics services such as transportation and warehousing for companies and private individuals. The company operates in southern Sweden, in the area around Kristianstad with 35 vehicles with a total capacity of 30 tons. Budettan is an add-on acquisition to SISAB, a group of companies specializing in fiber, telecommunications and electrical expansion. The SISAB-group is comprised of Telarco, nds Nordic Drilling System, LM Transport, CSAB, Miljögården and Tofta Gård.

The acquisition of Budettan strengthens SISAB’s position in southern Sweden and complements the current service offering. Budettan will operate under its own brand but there are opportunities for collaboration with the SISAB-group and Storskogen’s other companies within the vertical Logistics, according to Ola Johnsson, CEO of SISAB.

”Budettan is a great complement to SISAB’s current service offering and we are happy that the company wants to be part of the SISAB-group. Together we will strengthen the group’s geographical presence in southern Sweden”, says Ola Johnsson.

Budettan was founded in 1998 and is since 2013 owned by Mikael Håkansson and Jonas Grahn, who will continue to operate the company after the transaction.

”We are happy to have SISAB and Storskogen as a new long-term owner. Together, we’ll be able to continue the growth journey that Budettan has begun and further improve our service offering to our customers. We are confident that SISAB and Storskogen are the right owners for the company’s future development”, says Mikael Håkansson, CEO of Budettan and Jonas Grahn, deputy CEO of Budettan.

The company will be part of Storskogen’s Business Area Services within the Vertical Infrastructure, for which Niclas Rundlöf Bolin is responsible.

”Budettan is a fine company that though a high focus on quality and flexibility throughout the organisation has gained a strong market position as a service provider within transportation and warehousing. I am excited to support the company on its continued journey”, says Niclas Rundlöf Bolin.
