As of 5 November 2009, Per Johan Plünnecke will assume responsibility as manager of Veidekke Industri/Kolo Veidekke, following Vidar Aarvold who for the past ten years has headed the operation and who will now take on other tasks in the group.

"It is good that the Veidekke Group has access to the experience and expertise such a change in management requires, and that we can choose amongst our own with such confidence," says Per-Ingemar Persson, Executive Vice President and Chairman of the board of Veidekke Industri, Hoffmann AS and Veidekke Entreprenad AB.

Per Johan Plünnecke has been employed by Veidekke since 1995. For the first four years he was head of Region East with Veidekke Entreprenør, before taking over as head of Region South in 1999. Plünnecke came to Veidekke from Selmer (Skanska), where he was employed for 22 years, the last years as region manager. Prior to that he worked for STUAG in Switzerland as construction manager.

-"I look forward to continuing the work on further developing Veidekke Industri/Kolo Veidekke together with Per Johan," says Per-Ingemar Persson.

"He has the experience a job like this requires and of course he knows Veidekke, our operations and our corporate culture.
