Veidekke to build phase 1 of "Vossapakko"
Today Veidekke Entreprenør AS has signed a contract with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration for construction of Vossapakko K1. The value of the contract is NOK 311 million excluding VAT.
The contract covers the national highway RV 13 from Øvre Granvin to the border of Voss and RV 13 from Mønshaug to Palmafoss in Hordaland. Approx. 9 km of new highway will be built, including 4 km in tunnels. The project also includes roughly 2.2 km of bicycle lanes and pavements, 2 km of secondary roads and two road bridges. This project is the first in the Vossapakko project, which also includes two other projects on the European road E-16 and national highway RV 13 in the municipalities of Voss and Granvin.
Work will start up at the beginning of November this year and is scheduled for completion in June 2012.
