Turn Heads With 3M’s Vehicle Wrapping Film – Now Available in New Satin and Matte Finishes
Bracknell, UK, 2 April 2013 – Colour change films are increasing in popularity for creative vehicle wrapping and now there are even more colours to choose from. Six new matte and satin finish colours have just been added to the Scotchprint Car Wrap Film Series 1080 from diversified technology company 3M, joining a broad selection of existing matte, satin, gloss, carbon fibre and brushed metal effect options.
In a recent world record attempt in car wrapping, 10 Danish installers fully wrapped one Audi A6 with Scotchprint Car Wrap Film Series 1080 in just 34.40 minutes – three minutes of which they were without light. The Audi was wrapped using 60-inch sheets of carbon fibre vinyl film enabling sections of the car to be covered entirely without seams. The challenge demonstrates just how quickly a whole car can be transformed to create that eye-catching wow factor.
Professionally wrapped vehicles can offer a quicker, smarter and more cost-efficient alternative to a re-spray. The speed of application, inherent in the Scotchprint Car Wrap Film Series 1080, helps to reduce costs and vehicle downtime. This is thanks to a unique, pressure-activated Controltac adhesive technology from 3M, which enables precise positioning with an instant bond and no curing time. The films also ensure fast, easy and virtually bubble-free installations.
The six new colours available in the Scotchprint Car Wrap Film Series 1080 range includes satin white, satin pearl white, matte bright yellow, matte hotrod red, matte royal purple and matte apple green.
