Acando and ForgeRock bring Open Source Solutions for Identity and Access Management to major customer accounts
In their first year being partners, the management and IT consultancy Acando and ForgeRock recorded remarkable results with open source solutions for identity and access management. With Open AM, ForgeRock is continuing what Sun Microsystems started as Open SSO (single sign-on). As a ForgeRock partner Acando provides system integration consulting and delivers educational services to the German market.
In just one year, the management and IT consultancy Acando GmbH with its extensive business unit for Java and open source solutions has established itself as a ForgeRock partner in Germany. At this innovative open source startup company, popular technologies have found a new home in the I3 Open Platform.
“It’s great that open source solutions are being further developed and supported by ForgeRock,” remarked Dr. Stefan Müller-Wilken, Business Unit Manager at Acando GmbH. “The products meet our customers’ demands for lean but secure solutions for access management exactly,” he expounded. For a global publishing company, Acando implemented the access to document portals; further contracts for implementation and support for big insurance and media companies are about to be closed.
