Agellis receives order for 140 KEuro from a European steel plant

Agellis Group AB has received an order totaling 140 KEuro for a measuring system based on newly acquired infrared products. The order comes from a steel plant in Europe.

The order relates to the measurement product "LadleSafe", an infrared camera system that monitors ladles and gives an alarm if a ladle shows external hot spots or is close to breakthrough. The system improves safety for personnel while at the same time protecting plant infrastructure and preventing production stoppages in both steel and non-ferrous plants. It can also help improve ladle fleet utilization.

The system is leased to the client over a three-year contract with an option for a subsequent buyout or continued leasing. Delivery is expected to be made during the current quarter and handed over to the customer during the third quarter of 2015.

"It is very gratifying to publish our first business with the Metsol products so soon after our purchase of the product rights. Safety of personnel in the metals industry has an increased focus today and the order will be an important reference for us in our future sales work, says Patrik Bloemer, CEO of Agellis."

For competitive reasons Agellis chooses not to mention the end user plant by name.

"Ladlesafe infrared monitoring of your steel ladles minimizes the risk of liquid steel breakout and maximizes your ladle refractory lifetime."
