To further strengthen both the expertise and the range within sprinkler systems, Ahlsell AS has signed an agreement to acquire the sprinkler business from Øglænd System (Øglænd). The business has annual sales of approximately MNOK 40.

Øglænd offers a comprehensive range of products for sprinkler systems, such as sprinkler heads, shut-off and alarm valves and sprinkler hoses.

"We aim to be the number one distributor within sprinklers in Norway. To succeed, we need to make sure that we have the right competence and people in the team. With this acquisition, we will.”, says Rune Flengsrud, Head of operations in Norway.

For the Ahlsell customers, this will be a positive acquisition. “We can now offer all our Nordic customers a market-leading sprinkler range – both in our branches and throughout our successful e-commerce channel.”, says Johan Nilsson, CEO and President, Ahlsell AB.

The acquisition of the sprinkler business from Øglænd is expected to be completed in the beginning of November and have a minor positive impact on the Group's earnings.
