Air Charter Service plans for new Houston office to serve oil and gas sector

Leading aircraft charter specialist, Air Charter Service, has announced its plans for a new office in Houston, Texas, with the intention to open in May this year.

The new operation will focus primarily on serving clients in the oil and gas industry, as ACS seeks to continue to grow market share after a strong performance last financial year.

Justin Bowman, CEO of ACS, commented: “A large part of our 30% growth in North America last year was due to an increase in activity from our energy sector clients. We completed more charter contracts for cargo movements and crew rotations than ever before and with a large portion of these customers basing themselves in the southern states, we feel the time is right to establish a local office.

“We already have established presences on the East and West coasts. By adding an office in the South we are able to provide a local service to new and existing customers in the region, while offering them the benefits of a global network”. The company has offices spread across five continents, including most recently an office in Kazakhstan that opened in 2012.

Heading up the operation will be Dustin Roades, currently a department manager in the company’s New York office. Bowman concluded; “Dustin has worked extensively with our oil and gas clients, taking the time to understand and ultimately create solutions for the unique logistical demands the industry has. This move is the natural next step for him and for us and we have every confidence he will make it a success.”
