Original Cooking Series with Celebrity Host Chef Ralph Pagano Gets Set to Mix Things Up at The International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

Pompano Beach, FL  (August 8, 2012) From the producers of  the award winning home improvement show Designing Spaces, comes All Mixed Up  an original cooking contest with more than a few twists.  Hosted by Celebrity Chef and TV personality Ralph Pagano, and shot on location at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, one of the unique aspects of All Mixed Up is that the contestants aren’t professional chefs - yet.

Three students from The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale were chosen to compete for the chance to be crowned “All Mixed Up Champion”, a title that’s sure to earn them more than a few extra credit points in the kitchen.

The three part series All Mixed Up takes the traditional cooking contest show format and truly mixes it up by featuring culinary students competing instead of professional chefs.  While the contestants set out to make not one but three award winning original recipes with ingredients from some of America’s best known brands, world-renowned chef and television personality Ralph Pagano will oversee, educate and challenge them to see who can really handle the heat in the kitchen at The International Culinary School of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

Pagano, Executive Chef and Director of Hospitality of the Solé on the Ocean Resort and Spa in Sunny Isles, Florida including his signature seaside Italian restaurant ALBA is no stranger to cooking shows.  Some of his television appearances include battling Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America, going to hell and back with Gordon Ramsay on Hell’s Kitchen and hosting his own show Pressure Cook on the Travel Channel.  Combine that with his over two decade’s worth of experience and his signature cooking style of taking classic dishes and re-mixing them, Pagano is the perfect fit as the dynamic host of All Mixed Up.

The debut of the All Mixed Up TV series will feature the well-known brands Formaggio Cheese, Kozy Shack pudding and Nestlé® USA. Top representatives from each brand serve as the panel of judges, determining who was able to create a unique recipe with the secret ingredients they supply.  The stakes are high when you are being judged by the likes of “The Big Cheese” on creating an original desert from his famous cheese. What about using America’s favorite Nestle Toll House chocolate products to create an award-winning entrée? Can the students rise to the culinary challenge?  Find out when you tune in Thursday September 7th 7:30am (ET/PT) for the premiere of All Mixed Up on Lifetime Television.
