PHILADELPHIA, PA February 7, 2014 – American Law Institute Continuing Legal Education (ALI CLE) is pleased to announce its upcoming program Planning for Medium-Sized Estates: Practical Strategies for Estate, Gift, and Tax Planning, that will take place at American Law Institute’s state-of-the-art Conference Center in Philadelphia, PA on March 19-21, 2014.

This program features three full days of learning for both experienced and beginner estate planners. The curriculum will include various trending topics in estate planning with a focus on medium-sized estates. Discussion will include balancing charitable goals with family needs, asset valuation, estate planning for same-sex couples in light of the Windsor and Perry cases, portability, GST exemptions, retirement and life insurance planning, and credit protection.

“Year after year, I look forward to my involvement with this course,” said Mary Ann Mancini of Loeb & Loeb LLP, planning chair for the program. “Rarely does a course provide value to both seasoned practitioners and novice attorneys, alike.  I’m regularly told by seasoned professionals that they’ve learned something new.  And those new to practice appreciate the strong foundation this program provides.”

Ms. Mancini and the esteemed faculty who join her will lead registrants through a case study and various interactive sessions so that each audience member will gain practical instruction, strategies, tips, and advice.

Ms. Mancini recommends this course to her own associates at all levels of experience because “the audience is diverse; the program involves highly engaging, interactive discussions with nationally recognized experts; and the program covers timely topics like planning for same-sex couples and new strategies for medium sized estates.”

Offering 21 hours of CLE instruction, including one hour of ethics, this comprehensive course could help attendees fulfill almost two years’ worth of CLE requirements -- an exceptional value for today’s estate planning attorney! In addition to CLE credits, the course also provides 25 CPE credits in Accounting and/or Business. To register or obtain further information, click here.
