South Country Health Alliance, PerformRx Partner to Bring Next Generation Pharmacy Benefit Management Services to 12 Minnesota Counties

Owatonna, MN (November 9, 2012) – South Country Health Alliance (SCHA) and PerformRx (www.performrx.com), one of the nation’s integrated technology leaders offering next generation, full-service pharmacy benefits management, today announced that they have partnered to bring state-of-the-art pharmacy benefit management services to SCHA’s Medical Assistance and Medicare Advantage members in 12 counties in Southern and Central Minnesota. The contract is effective January 1, 2013 and will cover approximately 23,000 eligible beneficiaries.

SCHA is a county-owned health plan based in Owatonna, Minn. SCHA serves Brown, Dodge, Freeborn, Goodhue, Kanabec, Morrison, Sibley, Steele, Todd, Wabasha, Wadena and Waseca Counties in Southern and Central Minnesota. Founded in 2001, SCHA offers five different programs to meet the health care needs of Minnesota Health Care program enrollees.
