Anglia adds world beating GPS module line
Wisbech, UK, 17 April 2013 – Anglia M2M has been appointed exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for GlobalTop Inc, manufacturer of Mediatek (MTK) based GPS receiver modules. The agreement replaces Anglia’s position as UK distributor for Fastrax GPS modules which came to an end following its acquisition by ublox.
According to Tim Clayton, Divisional Marketing Manager for Anglia M2M, “GlobalTop GPS modules are technically and commercially very competitive, and are easy to integrate as a result of their industry standard architecture. The GlobalTop range includes both smart antenna modules with a pre-tuned antenna and standalone modules with an ultra-small footprint for more advanced applications. Their hardware is exceptionally versatile, with good design tools allowing firmware to be readily adapted to suit specific needs.
