ALAIN NEGUELOUA APPOINTED GENERAL MANAGER OF
MANDARIN ORIENTAL, BOSTON
Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Alain Negueloua as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Boston, with immediate effect.
Mr Negueloua is a veteran hotelier with over 25 years of luxury hospitality experience. He rejoins Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group after six years as General Manager at Meadowood Resort in Napa Valley, California. Prior to this, during his nine year career with Mandarin Oriental, Mr. Negueloua held a variety of senior management positions, including Resident Manager and General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco, and General Manager of The Mark, New York. Before joining Mandarin Oriental, Alain gained over 13 years of managerial experience with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts.
Commenting on the appointment, Richard Baker, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s Executive Vice President, Operations Director, The Americas said: “We are delighted to welcome Alain back to Mandarin Oriental in his leadership role as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Boston. Alain has the experience and drive to enhance Mandarin Oriental, Boston’s outstanding reputation as the city’s finest luxury hotel.”
As General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Boston, Mr Negueloua succeeds Susanne Hatje, who has relocated to Mandarin Oriental’s corporate office in San Francisco to take up her new role as Group Director of Residences.
Mr. Negueloua studied human resources management at San Francisco State University, and holds an Associate of Arts degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from City College of San Francisco.
