Science and Technology website Ask the Experts announce strategic partnership with global enterprise software solutions company, Technology Evaluation Centres.

The UK based, science, technology and business social media site Ask The Experts (www.asktheexperts.org.uk), has announced its latest strategic partnership with global enterprise software solutions company Technology Evaluation Centers (TEC).

This new alliance will provide ATE with daily content for its members directly from TEC, in the form of a daily news post and selected downloads.

Ask the Experts is a rapidly expanding science, technology and business website that provides news and articles about the latest developments in the technology space, as well as providing a social media platform for their 122,000+ members to share, discuss and interact.

Technology Evaluation Centers (TEC) helps organizations choose the best enterprise software solutions for their unique needs—quickly and cost effectively. With detailed information on 1,000 solutions in the world’s largest vendor database, TEC delivers an unmatched range of online evaluation and selection resources to help insure successful software selection projects.

Mark Stephens, the founder of ATE says “This alliance makes complete sense for both parties. TEC deliver the industry’s largest range of online evaluation and selection of resources for software selection, in addition to extensive research data, white papers and industry surveys. This is information that we can now make available to our membership through ATE. Our strategic plan is to bring together a number of the leading organizations across the technology landscape and eventually make this sort of information available for all technology environments.

“ATE is targeting a global audience and through its network of strategic partnerships we will reach out to a wide network, far beyond what any of us are able to achieve all on our own. TEC understand this concept and have agreed to the union that we believe will be the start of a great relationship between our two companies and clearly establishes our intentions for future alliances within other areas of the technology space.”

Stephens went on to say “2011 is proving to be a massive period of development for us within ATE. There are so many projects that we had planned during this period. Already this year we have launched our Business eBook Library, where people can access and download 1000’s of business books and papers completely FREE of charge. This was quickly followed by the first of our own books, in the Business Leaders Book Club series, that is also FREE to download from the site.

We now have over 40 journalists researching and writing for us on the most amazing developments within the technology arena and the quality of those articles established us as an approved supplier to both Google News and PR Newswire this year. I explain to people that ATE is like Facebook for people that want to know more about all the most interesting and exciting  things that are going on in and around the technology space and then when you look around the site, you realize that we just give you a whole load of other stuff that you weren’t expecting”.

Gregg Bayes-Brown has recently joined the project as Assistant Editor of ATE and added “I have come into a very exciting environment, with so much going on. There is a genuine belief that we are doing something very unique within this project, that is a natural evolution and development of the now well established social media model that everyone knows through Facebook and LinkedIn. Aggregating and Integrating best of breed online technology services and information providers into one place, alongside our own high quality journalism can only help establish our position going forward.”
