Atea Denmark wins large new tender to the public sector

Staten og Kommunernes Indkøbs Service A/S (SKI), the largest public procurement organization in Denmark, has selected Atea as the sole supplier on a large tender for Microsoft software to the public sector. The tender, called ‘miniudbud 50.49 Standardsoftware – Kommuner’ has an estimated value of DKK 544 million over three years.

The most important supplier criteria from SKI when awarding the contract was quality. Quality metrics were weighted 51 percent and price metrics were weighted 49 percent when evaluating bids to the tender process.

Atea was the supplier on an earlier agreement which preceded this tender. The new tender ‘miniudbud 50.49 Standardsoftware – Kommuner’ expands the number of kommune covered by the existing agreement from 54 to 66.

Customers can start to place software orders according to the tender from April 1, 2019. The decision to award the tender to Atea can be appealed until February 4, in accordance with the current public procurement regulations.
