Carlos Santana: The band Santana became famous in the late 1960s and early 1970s, with a pioneering sound that fused rock, blues, salsa and jazz. Their music featured the melodic, blues-based guitar lines of Mexican immigrant Carlos Santana, set against Latin rhythms. Carlos Santana: La banda Santana se hizo famosa a finales de los 60 y principios de los 70 con un sonido pionero que fusionó el rock, el blues, la salsa y el jazz. Su música presentaba las líneas de guitarra basadas en el blues del inmigrante mexicano Carlos Santana, sobrepuestas a ritmos latinos.

About Us

The Atlanta History Center is an all-inclusive destination featuring the Atlanta History Museum; two historic houses, 1928 Swan House and 1860 Smith Family Farm; the Centennial Olympic Games Museum; Kenan Research Center; Grand Overlook event space; Chick-Fil-A at the Coca-Cola Café, a museum shop, and the Goizueta Gardens, featuring 22 acres of gardens, walkways, paths and trails. In addition, the History Center operates the Margaret Mitchell House located in Midtown Atlanta.
