Atlas Copco appoints Andrew Walker as President of the Construction Technique business area

Stockholm, Sweden, September 4, 2014: Atlas Copco, a leading provider of industrial productivity solutions, has appointed Andrew Walker to be President of the Construction Technique business area and member of Group management, effective September 15, 2014. Andrew Walker is currently President of the Service division in the Compressor Technique business area.

“Andrew is a broad and experienced leader with a successful background in global and local management of both equipment and service business lines,” said Ronnie Leten, CEO and President of the Atlas Copco Group. “This will be valuable in his new mission to further develop the Construction Technique business area.”

Andrew Walker started his career with Atlas Copco in Ireland 1986 and has since then had several different management positions in markets including United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium and United States. Today he is President of the Service division in Compressor Technique. Andrew Walker will be located in Antwerp, Belgium. He will be member of Atlas Copco’s Group Management.

Andrew Walker is an Irish citizen, born in 1961. He has a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from University College Dublin, Ireland.
