HITACHI CAPITAL DRIVES FORWARD WITH ATS EUROMASTER

13 March 2013

Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions added 6,500 cars to its fleet in December 2012 and has called on ATS Euromaster to manage the increased tyre workload.

In the first three months following the arrival of the new vehicles into Hitachi Capital’s care, ATS Euromaster handled 87.2 per cent of the additional service work, with this volume continuing to rise every week.

Julian O’Donovan, National Car Account Manager at ATS Euromaster, says: “We’ve been really pleased to see the speed and readiness with which these 6,500 company car drivers have made the transition to ATS Euromaster, having previously had their tyres fitted by a different service provider for years. It’s testament of their faith in our ability to look after them.”

Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions is one of the UK’s largest automotive leasing companies, responsible for a fleet of more than 60,000 cars and commercial vehicles on a mixture of leasing and fleet management contracts.  As such it needs a service provider which is easy to do business with and has a national footprint, with expert technicians on hand to keep its customers on the move.

Malcolm Roberts, Fleet Services Manager at Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions, says: “We are committed to managing our fleet as effectively as possible and by working closely with ATS Euromaster we’ve been able to make the transition for our new customers to a different tyre and fast-fit provider as seamless as possible.”

O’Donovan adds: “ATS Euromaster has been working with Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions since 1991; the team is confident sending their customers to us and we in turn work hard to keep their trust by offering a fast, reliable and honest service.”

With 25 years’ experience of providing bespoke vehicle funding and fleet management services, Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions supplies vehicles to hundreds of firms across the UK.

Every customer benefits from full access to ATS Euromaster’s network of more than 350 service centres nationwide, supported by a fleet of approximately 900 mobile service vans – the largest mobile tyre fitting operation in the UK.

Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions entered into a new three-year contract with ATS Euromaster in January 2012.
