OCEAN™ Breast Enlargement offers women a total "breast makeover"

Advanced new procedure includes a Breast Enlargement, Uplift, Areola Reduction & Nipple Lift - in one operation

UK Plastic Surgeon Adrian Richards has become the first surgeon in the world to offer a new surgical technique to women seeking a complete breast makeover with minimal scarring.

Developed by Mr Richards, the OCEAN™ Breast Enlargement offers a much more dramatic improvement than a traditional breast enlargement. The procedure combines a breast enlargement with a breast uplift, while also reducing the areolas and lifting the position of the nipples.

The overall effect is to provide women with a complete breast rejuvenation - giving them breasts which are fuller, higher and more 'pert', without the need to undergo more than one operation.

Why the name OCEAN™?

When Mr Richards' company Aurora Clinics were deciding on a name for his new technique, they wanted something memorable that incorporated all elements of the procedure. So they came up with the acronym OCEAN™, which stands for:

  • 'O' Scar
  • Combined
  • Enlargement
  • Areola reduction
  • Nipple lift

Besides incorporating several procedures into one surgery, what makes the OCEAN™ different is the method used to perform the surgery, which is described by the "O Scar" component of its name. Everything is carried out through subtle 'O shaped' incisions around each areola.

Peri-Areolar Incisions = Subtle Scarring

Unlike traditional breast surgery techniques, which are usually performed through long incisions running underneath the breasts, the entire OCEAN procedure is performed through small circular incisions around the areolas - keeping scarring as subtle as possible.

Another advantage of creating the incisions around the areolas is that they are perfectly placed to benefit from cosmetic tattooing. Once the scars have faded to white, patients can choose to have cosmetic pigmentation to match them to the natural shade of the areolas - leaving a "virtually scarless" result.

This represents a huge plus point for women who would like breast surgery but are put off by the idea of being left with noticeable scars.

Who can benefit from the OCEAN™ technique?

The procedure is suitable for any woman who wants to increase the fullness of her breasts as well as improve their overall shape. The technique lends itself particularly well to treating women who have lost weight, either through pregnancy or lifestyle changes, and found their breasts have lost volume and started to sag - but it can also be used very effectively to treat women who have always been unhappy with their breast size or shape.

The OCEAN™ Breast Enlargement is available exclusively at Aurora Clinics in the UK.
