Orlando, FL -- AV Homes’ new Vitalia active adult community brand has earned more awards than any other builder in the National Association of Home Builder’s 50+ Housing Awards Competition for its work in the “Built” category. Vitalia earned four awards:

  • Gold Award Best 50+ Lifestyle Sales Center
  • Silver Award 50+ For Sale Community Over 200 Homes
  • Silver Awards 50+ Detached Home Up to 2,100 Sq. Ft.

“We are honored to be recognized by a panel comprised of the 50+ housing industry’s most respected professionals,” said Sr. Vice President Ken Plonski.  “Two of our core values are innovation and continuous improvement and that’s what we strive to achieve with the products and services we design for our customers,” he added.

The Best of 50+ Housing Awards are the building industry's most prestigious national program honoring excellence in building, design, marketing and lifestyles of housing for boomers and beyond. The Best of 50+ Housing Awards are viewed by the industry as a showcase for innovation, emerging trends and quality housing for the mature demographic.  The 2013 award ceremony was held at the International Builders Show in Las Vegas on January 23, 2013.

Solivita, the company’s active adult community near Orlando, Florida, was the recipient of all four of the 2013 awards.  In October, the company unveiled its new Welcome Center and 16 new floor plans with designs crafted around the way active adults actually “live” in their homes.  Solivita features more than 150,000 sq. ft. of recreational amenities in a quaint Mediterranean-themed Village Center.

In 2012, Vitalia’s CantaMia active adult community near Phoenix, Arizona, was presented with the top award for Best “For Sale Community Over 200 Homes” and the Silver Award for Best “Green Community”. For more information visit www.VitaliaHomes.com.
