Anne Rhenman-Eklund leaving Axfood

Anne Rhenman-Eklund, Head of Corporate Communications, is leaving Axfood for new duties outside of the company.

Anne Rhenman-Eklund has been employed by Axfood since 2007 as Head of Investor Relations and since 2010 as Head of Corporate Communications with responsibility for the Axfood Group’s communication, sustainability work and brand strategy. She has been a member of Axfood’s Executive Committee.

Anne Rhenman-Eklund has contributed to the company’s positive development in various ways.

Work has been started on recruiting a new head of Corporate Communications.

Axfood AB conducts food retail and wholesale business in Sweden. Retail business is conducted through the wholly owned store chains Willys and Hemköp, comprising 253 stores in all. In addition, Axfood collaborates with a number of proprietor-run stores that are tied to Axfood through agreements. These include stores within the Hemköp as well as stores run under the Handlar’n and Tempo profiles. In all, Axfood collaborates with approximately 820 proprietor-run stores.
