Bisnode has signed an agreement to acquire Poslovna Domena, the market-leading business information solutions provider in Croatia. The acquisition strengthens Bisnode’s position in the Croatian business information market and will generate significant synergies with existing operations.

Poslovna Domena provides digital business information solutions based on Croatia’s most complete dataset of company and people information. Poslovna Domena is a profitable fast growing company with annual revenue of approximately EUR 1 million and 15 employees based in Zagreb.

“The Poslovna Domena acquisition fits well with Bisnode’s strategy to expand business in high-growth markets, and on leveraging synergies for improved profitability. With Poslovna Domena Bisnode will gain market leadership in digital business information in Croatia”, says Johan Wall, President and CEO of Bisnode.

“Poslovna Domena’s exclusive databases and product development competencies will increase our ability to innovate and offer value added solutions in Croatia, as well as strengthening across the Central Europe region”, says Maria Anselmi, country manager Bisnode Croatia and Slovenia.

The acquisition of Poslovna Domena will be completed in January 2011.
