The Ongame Group signs agreement with Gaming Corp. – UK’s no. 1 gaming portal operator
PokerNetwork, the world’s third largest online poker network and a part of the Swedish Ongame Group, has signed a licensing agreement with Gaming Corporation plc (“Gaming Corp”). UK’s no. 1 gaming portal operator.
PokerNetwork comprises around ten operators, the largest of which is PokerRoom.com (also a part of the Ongame Group). Through the network, operators can offer their players one of the world’s best poker software programs and access to a wide range of opponents, tournaments and tables at various levels. PokerNetwork has approximately 5 million registered players as of today.
“Player liquidity is a decisive factor in the success of a digital poker network,” said Patrik Selin, CEO of Ongame. “The larger the player database we have, the greater the number of tables and tournaments we can offer.”

PokerNetwork is the only leading network to offer both a downloadable Windows client and a Java client that doesn’t have to be downloaded, in addition to Ongame’s unique poker application that can be accessed via a mobile device.
