Tom Anderson to Lead Internal Development Team at C-leveled

C-leveled is pleased to announce that technologist, Tom Anderson, has become the newest member of the C-leveled team.

Tom Anderson will lead the internal development team at C-leveled which is focused on helping C-leveled clients bring applications and software products to market, meet the due diligence requirements of investors, and define their technological strategy.

According to founder, Denise DeSimone, “Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in getting software applications built, tested and released. His combination of technology, leadership and instructional skills are a perfect fit for what we do at C-leveled to help companies reach their next level and full potential.”

Having previously worked for Microsoft, Research in Motion and as a serial entrepreneur, Tom Anderson states, “I’ve had the privilege of knowing Denise DeSimone and Michael Annichine of C-leveled for several years and am honored to join them and the rest of the team at C-leveled. I believe in the vision of C-leveled, its nurturing environment and look forward to helping their many clients develop their technological strategies and see that strategy through development to release.”

Tom started his career in 1986 with Microsoft Corporation. Tom was Program Manager on several products including Windows 3.11, Windows for Workgroups, Windows 95, and Internet Explorer. He also led the Windows 10k program and was creator of the Windows Resource Kit. In addition, Tom presented at many trade shows and gave technical presentations with the then executive staff of Microsoft in Tom’s premier “Super Demo” presentation.

After leaving Microsoft in 1995, Tom became a serial entrepreneur: he formed Three Points Consulting, consulting to such firms as Microsoft, Heinz, and developed the first online store for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Three Points Consulting was acquired by TechRx, a pharmaceutical software company, where Tom remained as CTO through its acquisition by NDCHealth. In 2005, he became a High School and Middle School science teacher and joined the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School (PA CYBER), where he was awarded the Keystone Technology Integrator Award for Innovative Use of Technology in the Classroom. During this time, he continued to consult on technology through his company Maritom, LLC and in 2009 spun-off Maritom Education for his web-based, education tracking system, which was successfully acquired in 2011.

Since then, Tom continued to consult, evangelize new technology and create various web and mobile applications on all platforms including iOS, Android and BlackBerry. Specifically, helping Research in Motion reach 70,000 applications prior to its launch of the BlackBerry z10 high-security QNX platform. Tom also assisted University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and US Steel with high-security mobile applications.

Tom continues to appear as a guest speaker, lecturer and webcaster and has been invited to present around the world, including the University of Notre Dame School of Engineering, and many trade shows and conferences in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Sao Paulo and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; Hong Kong, China; Amsterdam, Holland; Bangkok, Thailand; and throughout the United States and Canada. He is frequently quoted in trade articles, magazines and websites including, PC Week, PC Magazine, Esquire, Techvibes.com, and Engadget.com.
